Hike @ Lake Chabot Regional Park on 2024-12-08
A moderately long hike used for the 4 10 mile hike requirement of the hiking merit badge. Also because it builds character, being the longest hike in years. Was supposed to be impossible.
Somehow, unlike all other hikes in living memory and despite predictions that we would finish at night, we completed before our scheduled 6 hours by over 20 minutes. No one got lost (unfortunately, parts of the path were a bit too familiar) and no one was left behind significantly. Despite much complaining, we finished without any notable difficulty.
