Hike @ Mount Diablo on 2025 07 20
This hike was done solely to fulfill a cooking merit badge requirement. During the hike, the troop prepared and served two meals.
Surprisingly, the hike went mostly as planned. However, at the intersection of Juniper trail and the road near Summit trail, our scoutmaster inexplicably altered the route, slightly shortening the hike. Inconveniently, some scouts were already on the planned path when they were forced to turn around and go on the new path.
